Multi-wheel Roulette, as the name suggests, is a roulette variation in which several roulette wheels are spun at the same time. If you’re familiar with traditional roulette you’ll have no problems picking up this version, as it’s essentially exactly the same as American or European roulette, the main difference being that bets are placed on multiple wheels at once instead of just one.

Best AUD casinos for multi-wheel roulette

Microgaming has a great version of Multi-Wheel Roulette available, using sophisticated graphics to create an elegant casino ambience. The betting table is well laid out and the wagering specifics are easy to navigate, with plenty of customisable settings. Our favourite Microgaming casinos that accept deposits in Australian currency include:

You can play Multi-wheel Roulette at any of these sites for free in demo mode if you want to get a feel for the game before moving on to play for real money. There are also great welcome bonuses for new players offered at each venue, boosting your bankroll to make your dollars go further.

How does it work?

Just like in traditional roulette, players are required to place a bet on the predicted outcome of where the ball will land once the roulette wheel has come to a stop. Bets can be made on single numbers, colours, odds or evens and a series of other inside and outside bets. The odds become higher or lower depending on the likelihood of your predicted outcome.

In Multi-wheel Roulette, the bet you place applies to all the roulette wheels in play, which means if your prediction is correct on any of the wheels it constitutes a win. In Microgaming’s Multi-Wheel Roulette there are eight separate roulette wheels, and you can choose how many wheels you want to play.

To play, use the betting chips at the bottom of the screen to place your bet anywhere on the roulette board. Unless you specify otherwise, all eight roulette wheels will be in play. To disable any of the wheels, just click on the ones you don’t want to activate. Once you’ve placed all your bets, click the spin button and watch as all the wheels spin to a stop and the results unfold before your eyes. You can chose the re-bet option to place the same bet during the next spin without having to manually make your wager again.

Betting differences when playing multi-wheel roulette

While Multi-Wheel Roulette does offer some bigger chances to win, be aware that your stake is multiplied by the number of wheels you have activated so it will cost significantly more than playing a single wheel. For example, if you place a $10 wager and activate six of the roulette wheels, your total bet will cost $60. As roulette is purely a game of chance, there’s nothing you can do to influence the outcome of a spin, but if luck is on your side you do stand to win some big bucks when playing Multi-Wheel Roulette.

Is Multi-Wheel Roulette worth playing?

If you’re a seasoned roulette player, risk taker or high roller and looking to step things up a notch, Multi-Wheel Roulette is definitely worth giving a go. Given the amount of wagers on the line, this game sure cranks the adrenaline meter up to high and is not for the faint hearted. Players can stand to lose a significant amount of money if no winning bets are placed, but once you land a big win it will seem completely worth it.

Beginners may be a little overwhelmed with it, so you may want to try any of the classic single wheel roulette games available at our recommended casinos before graduating on to play multiple wheels at once. As our favourite casinos allow free demo play, you can always try it out with no risk to your pocket.

Tips for playing multi-wheel roulette

The main thing to remember when playing multiple wheels at once is that even though you have the chance to land some big wins, you will go through your bankroll much quicker than when playing a single wheel game. Set yourself limits as it’s easy to burn through your money before you know it when playing multiple games at once.

It’s always important to remember that roulette is 100% a game of luck, so don’t go too overboard trying to employ any special strategies.

If you’re new to multi-wheel roulette we recommend trying the Microgaming variant with only two or three wheels activated to begin with. This will give you the chance to get used to this form of gameplay without risking as much money, and you can then move on to activate more wheels as you get used to the game.
